Vision's Tax Integration with CCH Wolters-Kluwer
When calculating taxes for a subscribers services Vision will base the calculations off the address of the subscriber where location will go through a verification process that will provide accuracy to the rooftop and include the zip code plus four of the address of the subscriber. Vision integrates with CCH data set to ensure accurate local, city, state and/or federal taxing of telecommunication services. The way Vision is a geospatial location based system helps with taxing a subscriber's services as tax item types are tied directly into the service items of the service package which will automatically be calculated based on the address of the subscriber.

Vision offers a Tax Preview tool that will give you a better understanding of the tax rate for county and state sales tax for a service item. To figure out the correct tax rate you will have to fill out the city, zip code, location and subscriber type, and the item quantity and service item total to give an accurate tax rate for the service item.
CCH data is included with Vision's Services, we provide support for setting up your accounts and making sure all the necessary information is provided to keep you compliant with the correct documents. Vision can run reports on taxes and charges that have been applied to a subscribers service. The 4 options that are available will help with running a report for any range of dates by subscriber type, service item, city, state or county to pull the most accurate information regarding taxes, fees, and charges relating to a subscriber. The integration with Vision and CCH data through Wolters-Kluwer will provide updated rates each year which will make updating taxes on a service item easier with the help from the integration of the two companies. The system automatically adjusts when any changes in the taxation rate occur. This integration reinforces the importance of accurately starting with a subscriber's exact location.
