Fibersmith integrated the new FCC broadband nutrition label requirements into Vision Software. This built-in feature makes it easy for your business to comply with regulations and provides your customers with clear, accurate information about their broadband service pricing.

The majority of providers must display at the point of sale clear, easy-to-understand, and accurate information about the cost and performance of broadband services. The compliance deadline for ISPs with fewer than 100,000 subscribers is October 10, 2024.

Where to Find Broadband Labels in Vision
After setting up the templates with the Support Team, your company Broadband Consumer Labels can be found under Admin Utilities > Service Packages in Vision. Each individual Service Package includes a label built specifically for the specific Service Package technology, speed and pricing.
At the bottom of the Service Package Attributes, select from the drop down and then Copy the URL There is an option to choose the format of the Broadband Consumer Label to display the label to consumers.
Vision offers multiple ways of displaying the Label including a public or embedded PDF, JPG, and PNG.
- Select from the Drop Down your preferred file type
- Hit the Copy Label URL icon
- Preview the label by selecting the preview button in the Service Package.
- Download or print the PDF from the preview to display the label physically in office or during face-to-face sales
- Add the link to the file or URL to any of your online website presence.

How to Add Broadband Consumer Labels
Implement the URL links and/or PDF images to your website wherever a visitor is viewing your packages and pricing.
When using Vision's Public Shopping Cart, clients can update each Service Offers section to add links to each 'Description for Public Shopping Cart.' Go to Admin Utilities > Service Offers.
Editing the description will update the online shopping section so consumers can reference while buying services online from your business.
Adding an HTML snippet of the Public PDF Broadband Label to the Service Offer description will direct subscribers to view the label in a window. To add the snippet, click 
Broadband labels will be produce when a Service Package is set to Production status and is billable.
For Service Packages that is in Development a URL for the Broadband Label will be created and have the ability to copied to an Service Offer description. The Broadband Label will not be produced until the Service Package is set to Production.
When a Service Package is set to Archived a Broadband Label will not be generated. A backfill will generate a Broadband Label for an archived package if current subscribers are still using it.
