Company Wide Dashboards

Company wide dashboards allow you to group multiple dashboard report cards into one shared dashboard view. These dashboards can be built from normal dashboard cards, such as subscriber counts, package breakdowns, payment totals, lost sales, and other reporting cards available in Vision.

Unlike personal dashboards, company wide dashboards are intended to be shared across a tenant. They are useful when different teams or departments need a consistent view of the same information, such as marketing performance, network activity, billing totals, or operational metrics.

Only users with the proper company dashboard permissions can access company dashboards. This helps keep shared reporting views limited to authorized users while still allowing teams to create dashboards for specific use cases.

Creating Company Wide Dashboards

The admin interface of the company dashboard page allows you to view the current dashboards from the drop-down menu, or add a new dashboard type.

Adding Individual Cards to a Company Wide Dashboard

You can also add individual cards to Company Wide Dashboards through the card itself.

When creating/editing a dashboard card, you can select Visible On Company Wide Dashboard to make the card available for company dashboard use.

The category selector below it allows you to choose an existing company-wide dashboard to add the report to. Categories can only be created via Admin Utilities> Company Wide Dashboard and not via the individual cards.

Now when you access the company dashboards page, the card you made will be on the desired category.

Direct Links to Company Wide Dashboards

You can share specific company dashboards by adding a dashboard query string to the end of the company dashboard URL. The query string should match the company dashboard type name, but it is not case-sensitive and does not require spaces.

For example:

/companydashboard?dashboard=monitor map

or

/companydashboard?dashboard=monitormap

Both examples would open the Monitor Map dashboard directly.

You can also use the name of a custom dashboard:

/companydashboard?dashboard=name of custom dashboard

This allows users to link directly to a specific company dashboard instead of opening the default company dashboard view.

Company Wide Dashboard Types

Although most company dashboards are built from standard report cards, Vision also includes specialized prebuilt dashboards, such as the Monitor Map and Calendar Event Map, which display specific dashboard views instead of a normal report card layout.

Monitor Map

The Monitor Map gives you a quick view of subscriber equipment status. The map can display different hardware types, helping you better understand how subscriber services are performing across your network.

Each dot on the map represents a subscriber. You can click a dot to view more information about that subscriber and the associated hardware.

To access the Monitor Map, it must first be created from the Company Dashboard page. Create a new company dashboard and name it Monitor Map. Vision will automatically populate that dashboard with the monitoring map.

For more information on how to use the map, check out the monitoring page

Calendar Event Map

The calendar event map showcases completed and in progress events that are on the calendar. By clicking on an icon on the map will pull up the event information that is connected to location. The name of the event, date, address, Subscriber name, and workflow process will be the information that can be viewed at a quick glance to see what type of event is scheduled. This type of dashboard is a tenant setting, so it must be enabled to be accessed.
