Aureon

Vision includes an Aureon API integration that allows configuration data to be pushed to Aureon when setting up or updating a voice subscriber number.

This integration synchronizes caller ID and directory assistance preferences for voice subscribers. When enabled, Vision can automatically transmit configuration details to Aureon during subscriber provisioning.

When a number is configured for a subscriber, Vision can send the following information to Aureon:

CNAME – The caller ID name associated with the subscriber number.

CNAME Privacy / Caller ID Privacy – Controls whether the caller ID name is publicly visible. These fields represent the same privacy setting. The value functions as a simple on/off flag indicating whether the caller ID information should be hidden.

Caller ID Blocking – Caller ID privacy can also be determined by the presence of the Caller ID Blocking or Permanent Caller ID Blocking service items assigned to the subscriber.

Directory Assistance (DA) List Type – Specifies whether the subscriber should appear in directory assistance listings.

OCN Configuration – Sends the configured Operating Company Number when required by the Aureon system.

These values can be populated through service item provisioning settings or through workflow configuration.

Currently, configuration pushes are triggered from the Metaswitch – Assign User Devices task field dialog, where Aureon configuration can be included as part of the number provisioning process.

If the Aureon integration is enabled for a tenant, additional provisioning options become available on relevant service items. These options allow administrators to specify:

  • Caller ID name values

  • Caller ID privacy settings

  • Directory assistance listing preferences

This integration allows providers to manage voice subscriber caller ID and directory assistance settings directly from Vision as part of the normal provisioning workflow, reducing the need for manual configuration in Aureon systems.
